Aisha Rao is a fashion designer whose visual language is a mix of dreamlike patterns, vivid colour, and layered storytelling.

Kinfolk is a hand-tufted rug collection built around the complex, often unspoken relationship between people and the natural world – designed as conversation pieces rather than backdrop.

Unspoken sentiments and abstract feelings are expressed using pattern and texture, surfacing themes that don't usually get a visual language of their own. Five rugs exploring duality and connection – from the biodiversity of Nature's Collage to the relaxed philosophy of Susegad, the sibling bond of Dual Vistas, community in Bonded Diversity, and human contradiction in Twin Essence.
